Some of you know, but my car was repainted about 3 years ago, its first repaint. There was some cracking near tail lights, mostly left side.

At repaint of course this was refilled, all smooth.

Yet I just noticed some hairline cracks in that area (car has 10" wide rears.) Does anyone know of the least complex, least invasive way to strengthen the rear? I'm a fan of mods that don't intrude too obviously.

Seems that Kirk Evans had some suggestions for this exact thing, but my 'searching' has run aground. I've read many threads - some nearing 8 years old - and wondered what the current thought was on this topic.

Figured I'd do this while doing the shocks and other bits under there. Thanks in advance, as always.

Thank you for that. Obvious to some but not to me! "Now I see" said the blind man.

I don't think that is sold separately for some reason, but the upper is.
