At 7 secs you can see former Pantera owner Randy Grubb's latest Kenworth creation (Blastolene vehicles).

I saw Larry Stock this moroning and he had spoken with Randy, who was actually stood inside the tent when it took off. Apparently there was a Tornado warning just prior. Scottsdale has been getting its annual ranifall each day over the last couple days.
I think I spotted 2 panteras damaged in the slides?

I saw a lot of either rare original or high dollar clones damaged well beyond the $5,000 damage mark that was estimated.
Since Haggerty was a main sponser, I wonder what their stance will be?

R&S will either side step and blame it on whoever constructed the tent or call it an act of God beyond their responsibility.
If I had a car there, even if it was undamaged I'd be pulling it.
R&S said they would continue the auction?
Kinda like a football team having half their players die on the field and just keep playing.

If you start and go backwards you will quickly see the damaged black cat.

Yeah, that high dollar black cat with aluminum engine got hit too. On Barratt Jackson Hagarty was talking and said they would take care of their insured cars. Sad for the cars, but some owners may do well if they had high dollar insurance...sold at auction or total loss insurance claim may not matter to the seller. What the hell, was their hail too? Like that black firebird looks like it was just pelted with hail or stones all over the car.
I just got back from a week there for the auctions. The weather was crazy for sure.
From my understanding the cars owners insurance is responsible for the damages as in the selling contract it states that you don't hold them liable and that you provide your own insurance for anything that may happen to your car!
This is a very sad situation for sure. A couple tents partially fell at BJ also and all but the center auction tent was evacuated during the heavy part of the storm.
This is what insurance is for. The people who would be at most risk is someone who just bought a car and for a few instances the car isn't covered.

As far as homeowners covering a car? No way. That's what they sell car insurance for.

In the case of the Pantera though here is a perfect illustration of why to insure the car for replacement(repair) costs not the market value.
