That was a great video!

But one thing I noticed is that Ford made no use of what I find the marketable feature of the Pantera, the feature many owners I know fell in love with first. And that's the rear view. Looking up the Pantera's bad ass is what got me hooked.

Hmmm, can't get the video to play. It keeps giving me the message "cannot create directshow player" I tried searching for players and codecs without success. Any ideas?

You are right it is the rear view that reels them in, not that I'm taking anything away from the great profile, but the Pantera has a great rear end!

Try openning the link in Internet Explorer. If it doesn't come up, you should be able to click the blank box in the middle of the screen to activate the control.

Thanks for the attempt but it still won't play. I don't get the error message in explorer but still a dead screen. Funny, it does this on my home and work computer.

Don't feel bad Dennis as I can't get it to play either.

The car was truly 25 years ahead of its time. Can you imagine how the car would sell today with a modern marketing machine? Thanks for the video.

I especially liked the guy sitting on the hood of his Pantera, playing his guitar for his lady friend! I'll bet he only did that once!

It plays in Internet Explorer, not Netscape.

Yup ass marks are hard to get out.

This is a dealer video that is typically used for training purposes for the sales staff but it appears to have been made with a 73 or 74 car. It is odd that Ford would make this so close to the end of the cars life. Typically these are created at the beining of the life cycle to give the sales staff some idea as to what the car is all about. Sometimes they even preceed the cars initial release.

Ford Probably Had alot left to sale at the time this was made, or at least enough that they wanted to move them.

Where can a guy buy that video?

I'd like to get a copy too.
