Do they both belong to you? Is the silver one #1905
The red one is mine;1280. The silver one is a friend of the families. I have been trying to buy for years. He just want's me to fix it up. He will not sell. This is 1905:

I am sure it will come up again one day, but now that I have bought one to restore, the presure will be a little less on me and a lttle more on him. 1280 was a good find. Even though it looks rough it is quite solid. I know for a fact the silver one has been under water 3x!

I can cut and weld metal. I am doing a bare metal resto on an MGB and plan to do a few more cars. Metal work doesn't bother me. I would say I lack time, but that's not really so. My MGB is over 2 years on it's resto and will probably be a 3 year job total. There is nothing wrong with that. I just have my next 10 years or so lined out.

Gary, I like 1905, what kind of body kit? Is it available? Do you have a problem dragging the front end on the ground?
I think it is a Hall. It is all steel. I do no know much about the history but is well done. I cannot find a weld anywhere! Air dam is fiberglass and has some paint chips. It almost drags leaving the driveway. I have to watch it. The body has a lot of paint chips and paint cracks. It is a "driver".

The photos of the silver barn-Pantera are kind of neat... It feels like you have just found the hidden treasure after following some long-lost map. In an artistic kind of way, it is a neat photo.

Sam, it was. If you saw it you know it needs everything. That's what I really wanted. I want to do a full bare metal resto on something and I didn't see the need to pay for anything better then that. I made a roto for the MGB and a dolly. They will both work on the Pantera. I actually made the dolly for the Pantera and just welded the uprights to work on the MGB:
The Pantera is parked until I get the MGB done. It will either be:
A. Another restoration project in a year or two or..
B. Another barn find for some one else:

take a look in the gallery. basicly the car is now just the shell. have to move it to get out the engine,gearbox and fuel tank but i have just today started to cut out some of the rot and i will weld in new sills when i have made them.
