I would very carefully examine the leak; if it's only a pinhole, you may be able to screw a sheetmetal screw thru the pinhole, and cover the screwhead with ordinary Bondo, which is surprisingly fuel-proof & adheres well to bare steel. Any other sized hole will IMHO require tank removal. My tank pickedvup a pinhole dent which then cracked, and I repaired it that way- in 1998. Still holding-
