If this car ORIGINATED in Italy, why does it have LEFT hand drive and U.S.(only)Federal front and rear bumpers?? Did the first owner import it into Italy from the U.S.? Wow! That would different!
Just about every country in the world have left hand drive cars. Notable exceptions, UK, Japan, Australia. All of continental Europe have left hand drive. UK is the one exception, BUT we are not and never will be European.
Marlin: If the car was post '74 it was not brought in by Ford. Ergo, It was brought in either by an individual or specialty importer. They would have to EPA equip (smog) qualify it and comply with DOT requirements including the front 5 mph bumper. This bumper was on the L cars and later GT5 GT5-S cars.
