A Black Pantera (73 I think) with a pretty clean paint job sold for $39k there also.
You`re right one black pantera sold for ,i thought was 37.That might have been the one with 425hp with the big flared fenders,huge rear tires and louvers.Actually i think he kind of did a disservice to the car by customizing it that way but whatever.
Where is everyone getting these wierd sales prices for this auction? This is what I got off the Barrett-Jackson website as far as Scottsdale 2001 auction for 1/18/01 - 1/21/01:
