I found 3-4 Panteras for sale. (All located in Nor Cal.)
#1 A red 1974 (GTS) with the GTS flairs (flares ?) removed !
It is clean with what looks like a newer paint job. Emblems have
Been removed, rear deck lock removed (filled in). Motor appears
stock (STOCK), with all the vacuum hoses and what not to make
it 'smog-able' in California, the dealer is smog licensed, and would
smog it. It has the fresh air box (as seen on my website), with
recovered aftermarket seats (likely Recaros), later dash, clean
interior. Stock campys (10" rears) on decent Pirelli tires.
VIN 7052, 47,000 miles, dealer asking $30,000.
#2 A black 1972 with a rebuilt (performance) motor, and Roger
Krause suspension work. The body shows that it has been driven
some (wear and tear is obvious). It is owned local to the Pleasanton
Livermore area by a guy named Art "something" (I don't remember).
Early dash, with a "Lockheed" plaque between the two main gauges.
(Sound Familiar ?) VIN is 2512, with 68500 Miles. One flyer states
asking is $28,900, while a listing has it at $24,900.
Reasonable interior, Recaro seats (?), Campy wheels (7" + 8") with
decent tires (Pirelli ?).
#3 A Show Yellow Pantera will be available at the same shop the
above that the two are currently at, in the next couple of weeks.
#4 A white 1973 (VIN 5901) with 35100 miles showing, was seen
at another dealer.What was interesting about this car was that the
passenger seat had been cut down to fit around the center hump.
I don't know if my photo will come out well. Anyone know more
about this car ? Asking $35,000 (seems way high).
