Found this petcock at a parts store. Attach a few feet of hose & no more flooding the valance & floor. Attach the hose when draining or fold & store with nylon wire ties. Cost about $10.

308400 Edelmann, Brass Fitting, Drain Cock, 0.25 Pipe Thread, Maximum operating pressure 150 psi.

PetcockDrain

Radiator petcock drain incorporating a drain hose; it lies behind the radiator and runs the full width, and is secured with a single zip tie. When draining the radiator, it's simple to just route the hose into a bucket--no mess!-Mike Drew
