Pics From Monterey?

On your MySpace, given the choice of "view my pics or videos" I can click on videos and see your "Cat Thief" video but get a Myspace Home page when I click on pics.

Post a few here so we can all see what we missed!

If anyone's interested, there is a free utility for photo manipulation that I use for Windows PCs. It has a batch resizing feature that's perfect for this kind of stuff.

There was no Pantera that runs on batteries, Tom had an orange Pantera there that was Cleveland powered, fitted with new front & rear bumpers/facia designed by him. The bumpers help modernize the looks of the Pantera. He plans to market the bumpers via his company Tjaarda Design, which has an office in San Diego now.

A battery powered Pantera is in the works, but not a reality yet. Tom's company has partnered with 2 other companies to promote the battery powered automobile technology they have developed. Tom will of course be doing the design work for their show cars and possible future production cars.

Very nice shots Charity. Those would look good in print.

It took me a minute to figure out why there was no grass under the cars and then I remembered the venue change. Looks like a good turnout.

Here is a shot of the front.

My opinion? Looks like a cheap fiberglass piece stolen off the front of some ricer.

Doesn't seem to fit around the front outside corners. Kirk Evans' mini fronts are much nicer.

Here is the rear. Now this one seems to work much better. But even on this low mile mule, the problem of exhaust deposits is very evident.

The bumpers are the wrong color. They look out of place. Black or orange color would flow much better with the lines of the car . Chuck

I have enormous respect for Mr. Tjaarda's work, but this does not seem like his best effort. Those might look a lot nicer on a GT5Si, but I agree with Larry that they do not look right on an early Pantera.

Anyone from the event posting photos on a simple photo page? The My Space sites and slide shows make my computer go nuts.

Here is a link to photo taken by one of the GT40 guys. I still find it strange not seeing grass under the cars.
