I missed Vegas again (where are the photos?) but was in Italy. Aside from Rome, Florence and Venice, too much food, wine and shopping I finally fulfilled a dream and visted the DeTomaso factory. Thanks to Charlie and Roland for great directions.

I have posted a gallery with just some of the many photos I took there (I maxxed out the forum quota). I have many more. See Canadian DeTomaso Forum - a Canadian's Pilgrimage to Mecca (Modena).

I wonder what this is going to do to the value of our cars ?

A friend from Germany visited the factory last week with his silver Guara. They let him in and gave him a tour through the museum and the assembly hangar.
The museum is empty except the Deauville and some engines.
In the assembly hangar he could see the last built Guara, finished and waiting for delivery. Black body, black interior and white scripts on both sides.
A young engineer was still working on the Pantera prototype and he told him about negotiations with Toyota. This talk was finished, when Santiago came in.
So, I don't know if it is true or not.
