Finally got my plates today. Maybe you've run into this. I had a whole selection of clever and cool license plate ideas and submitted them...and they were ALL taken already! At least in Montana where the car is registered. So I came up with this, and I'm fine with it...

My plates arrived in June of 1976, when I came up with this, and I have been fine with it since then, but does this photo make #4744's *ss look big?

@panttera, nothing could make that rear end better or worse...are you panting for your Pantera? You owned that thing since 76?

Here in California at the DMV website you can actually input your desired custom license plate and they will immediately let you know if it is available or not.

I spent a lot of time at that website finding this plate for 2511. My F150 plate is PNTTERA

Yes, after I sold a Brabham BT40 Formula B and used the $10,500 to buy it during my Bondurant instructor years. Who needs a race car when that was my job, and I really wanted a Pantera!
