parapanteraIf you can't fix it with a hammer.....you have an electrical problem.
Well, me and #2492 got smacked by a motorhome that ran a red light today. Aside from the obvious damage, the hood/bonnet does not seem to open quite normal, and the drivers side headlight bucket protrudes upwards about 1/4 inch, suggesting the whole headlight mechanism has been compromised. Of course the fender replacement will be the uncommon procedure of weld removal and replacement, thus finding a shop that does this work is of concern. Rather than going through the yellow pages and taking stabs in the dark, does anyone on the list know of a shop in the Portland area that I could entrust this work to?
OUCH! Beautiful car ... even with the minor boo-boo.
Since you live in Protland, perhaps it may be worthwhile to ship the car (at the other guy's expense) to one of the California vendors. Just a thought. Best wishes, Ron.
It could have been much worse. Let me get over the shock....
If you remember, there is one vendor I would strongly suggest avoiding.
I'm sure there must be a few good local body shops for exotics. I'd suggest contacting Ron Tomkin (or whatever that exotic dealer I dealt with is called) and see who they suggest.
