Does anyone have a recommendations on doing the stainless steel trim around the windows and maybe even the rest of the car? I looked at the trim around the window and it looks like a nightmare to remove and then put back. I want to change the silver to black. I can't even figure out how to remove it. Has any one used one of the kits sold by a Pantera vendor to do it on the car? That doesn't seem like it would wear well to me. Thanks, Vince

Anodizing is only possible when the metal is aluminum, which your trim isn't. Powder coating is very tough and far superior to regular paint for adhesion and durability. The metal needs to be really clean and nice first for best results. Eastwood sells a home-use kit which I hear is quite good. The alternative is a pro coating shop. Either way the process requires that the part be heated to around 400 degrees to melt the powder, so make sure nothing important stays on the parts. Good luck!
