Does anyone have any tips or tricks for aligning the window regulators to acheive
smooth operation? I bought new glass, whiskers, felt from Wilkinson. I can't get it
to work smoothly no matter what I do. I have the "Vader" window lift setup. It worked
great with the old glass and the worn out seals.
I called Steve Wilkinson but he wasn't able to help .
Any suggestions??

Thanks,
Ron

Ron,
Do you still have your old door glass? You might want to compare the glass curvature. I have heard that the Vader conversion is very good. And I would imagine that it would over come minimal track binding.

In the past I spent countless hours adjusting and aligning the window tracks. The passenger side was horribly slow. Recently I converted to Taurus motors. Even with new track rubber the windows fly up and down.

My bet is if the window glass is not OEM it is probably the curvature.

Good luck,
Jeff
