I took some (considerable) time to trace the pre-L wiring diagram, that is generously available on several sites, and put color to the wires. It makes tracing the wire paths so much easier.
Solid colors are represented as they are. Wires with a black stripe are represented as a dashed line. See the legend.

The black & white version is almost impossible to follow. I ended up getting a selection of markers and coloring mine so it was readable.
