This is the project Pantera that I received in February 2024.  It's a 1972 Pre L that is setup as a GTS.  One giveaway that it's not a real GTS is the flat rear deck lid.  Tomorrow I plan to attempt to drive it a short distance.  The first two photos below show how it looks today.  The other photos show what I knowingly (for the most part) bought and received early this year.

Here is what I bought ...

Thanks all.

I should add that the Centerforce clutch worked well.  The clutch pedal action was smooth and took little effort.  The big Wilwood brakes really stop the car, even without vacuum to the booster.  I still need to install the vacuum pump for booster.  All five of my previous Panteras have factory brakes.  The Wildwood setup seems much more capable of stopping the car.

Hi Steve,

I'm only running the LEEDS Electric Vacuum Pump without manifold vacuum.  It has a pressure switch, so it keeps the vacuum adjusted as needed.

Here is the description and part #: Electric Vacuum Pump Kit - Black Bandit Series
VP001B

It works fine but I couldn't tell that the braking and brake pedal feel are any better than just running straight manifold vacuum.

The unit was $400 and I mounted it under the car in front area.

Thanks.  That's the same unit I will be installing.

In my case, I have to use a pump.  It is difficult at best to get sufficient vacuum for the brake booster from my 8 stack individual runner throttle bodies.  The car came with a vacuum pump that is plumbed and installed, but it is old technology, loud, and shakes the car a little.  I pulled its fuse.  My understanding is that the Leed pump is relatively quiet and smooth, kind of like an electric pump.
