...WOW!!! Is that thing Rough! One of the filthiest Engine Bays I have ever seen. By Far NOT the worst we have ever seen. Everything seems to be there except the Quarter windows, front grill, Front turn signals are in some pictures, I don't see the rear AC condenser, No front or rear Bumpers(Unless the Owner still Has them); and the Steering Wheel Center Emblem! But the Headers and All the Exhaust is near New. I LOVE IT!!! It's 'One Of Ours!' I can't wait to roll up my sleeves and start rejuvinating everything! Looks like Both Master cylinders will be one of the first things. Already has the 10 inch Campys! At $20,000 somebody is sure to 'Jump on' this Deal!! He's 'Giving it Away!' at a Fair Price. Could it be Driven while it was being restored? Sure to be somebodys' Dream come true. I wish You GoodLuck!! Marlin.
Ok, very keen on this vehicle. Is there anything we should know? The pictures tell the story really but I would be keen to discuss this further. For example do you have any of the missing parts. Please feel free to contact us either on the forum or by private message.

Hope to hear from you soon

I will take pictures of the parts tomorrow and post them in the evening.

Same car, sorry I could not get back here sooner, the Wx. at the river was just too nice to leave. Smiler

I believe I sent you and E-mail yesterday, Jeepinfool####@aol.com ?

Ps. I think I was only gone 4 months? Big Grin

Do you think I should have washed the car prior to listing it for sale? Wink

Thanks for you kind words and wishes of good luck! Big Grin
...Washed it? Couldn't have hurt! But that is part of the fun of the first day of ownership! Cleaning, Polishing the Car and 'Masking it Yours'! Besides the dirt in the Engine bay is Proof the Pantera has Never 'Seen' Water...From a Hose anyway. Just joking around, at the price, this Machine has a lot of potential! AND, To make this clear, I wasn't 'Insulting' Your Car; I Was Complimenting It!! I Think Someone will buy themselves a pretty decent ride that can be driven around town as they put work into making it more reliable and more compatible to their own unique style. I always liked Red on Black! You'll sell it for sure! Marlin.

Thanks again for your compliments! I have not had a lot of interest on the car as of yet, how do you feel about a price of 18k for the car? Smiler

Ps. I did take your first comments as positive.

The previous owner changed it as he liked the looks of the one piece bumper on the front of the car, I have a fiberglass front bumper and the original rear bumpers. I have not put the front bumper on as the new owner might want a carbon fiber front bumper.

Here are the parts that I have for the car, there are a couple of small boxes of junk, I did not feel like unloading them. I also have the original tires (Ariva) and wheels and a polished Edelbrock intake manifold in my hangar, these parts are out of state. I can't seem how to attach more than one photo, there is a trunk for under the deck lid.

Yeah, I gave up trying to attach photos despite everyone's advice and best efforts Razzer
Thanks for the pic anyway. We've sent you a private message so looking to hearing back from you soon.
So what's the new project that drags your interest away from this one? We're in the middle of doing up a Corvette Stingray and I need more hours in the day!!

I do not see a private message, did you send it via e-mail or here on the forums?

Now about my project....

I have a small ranch in the Arizona Outback that takes a lot of work and no place to drive the Pantera, I need to focus my energy on the ranch. I also have a boat I need to get running soon as the best weather of the year is just around the corner. Smiler

As you can see I'm completely computer illiterate especially as I can't even post a PM!! I did it through this site as I didn't have your email. I will try again in a minute...
Your outback isn't all that different from ours by the looks. Impressive bird - looks huge. I can see that you would have a bit to do on a property that size - especially mowing the lawns! Big Grin

It's not just you nor are you computer illiterate, this message board is difficult to get used to, not near as user friendly as V-Bulletin.

The ranch can be somewhat overwhelming at times, I am trying to buy another 80 acres next to me. Big Grin
When it gets to be too much at the ranch I head for the river house and go relax. Cool

We get a good group of Ski Racers up at the river and for the Catalina race, your mates seem to take Ski Racing (and most other things) quite serious and do real well, to bad for you an american (Tod Haig) won Catalina this year (win # 9) and the worlds in Belgium this year! applause
Ps. the car sold today, I will try to send you a pm. thanks so very much for you interest. Big Grin

The car sold today. I received a phone call last night and he came by today to take a look. The buyer could not get an e-mail to go thru so he searched my pictures and saw the business name in the background and tracked me down.

The car will remain in the states and will now reside in Corona where he will start a 3-4 year resto-mod. I'm sure it will be nice as he already has some nice cars including a Bora.

I thank you all for your kind works of support.
