Purpose of white wire in engine bay harness | The De Tomaso Forums

I have accounted for all of the wires in this bundle in the engine bay except for the white one. It has been clipped off downstream from here and seems to be unused. Does anyone know its purpose or where it goes upstream? Thanks!

As a point of reference, here are some of the wires surrounding it:

Yellow - gas tank sender

Pink - engine run

White black - gas tank sender

Pink black - oil pressure sender

Small black - gas tank sender

Red - I forgot (maybe trigger wire for solenoid)

Heavy black - alternator

The bundle to the right splits off to back of the car for tail lights, etc.

...Key Left in Ignition Switch WARNING BUZZER. Looks like a 'Ground' wire going to the Ign. Switch Housing...but is the Trigger for the Buzzer, to My Knowledge. Check at the Housing.

Back up light is the green wire seen in the bundle on the right.

...I Believe the Yellow/Black stripe is the 'LOW Fuel' Warning Light. A RED Dot Light on the Fuel Gauge Face. Comes on at 2 Gallons or Less.
