I took my P-car out yesterday for a spin, since the weather was nice here in Pa. I noticed an odd sound coming from the motor mainly during deceleration. Kind of sounds like a flappy sound. Hard to describe but very noticeable. I am wondering if it might be a noisy lifter or something else. The motor is not really old and it may have 4000 miles on it. I'd like an idea of where to look, and if it's a lifter how do I figure which one? I recently replaced my Hall big bore mufflers, since one side was bad. I don't remember hearing this before.
