if you have a digital camera with you, snap as many pics as you can (best quality, largest size). Sides, front, back, interior, engine compartment. Get the odo reading, the asking price, any history you can (why are they selling the car, any problems). E-mail me the info, get yourself a by-line in the mag.

So is the correct term down the freeway not up the freeway?

There is no freeway in Fillmore, just a single 4 lane highway lined with orange orchards & row-crops.

However, for we at PI to drive to Anaheim Hills is on the same order as you driving to Monterey, not well described as just up (or down) the freeway.

From seeing the same ad in Motorweek magazine for the last 6-7 months it appears there are still quite a few "brand new - never sold" Mangustas looking for their first buyers. Weren't these a $60K+ car when they first came out? Don't know what the guys trying to sell these "new" ones are asking for them, but it looks to me like the prices are going nowhere but down. FWIW
