Thanks for the pics Bill. What are the part numbers for the various parts used (I can't read the receipt). Also, did you increase the size of the rear condenser opening to accommodate the larger condenser and twin fans? Also, did you have to replace everything, or merely change hoses and fittings on your existing rotary compressor? Last, how does the thing work now? Inquiring minds want to know.
Rear opening is stock. The r134a compressor has specific fittings. Ill send you the part numbers for each fitting after I go back to the store and match the numbers with the pics in the catalog. It worked great before but leaked down a bit every few months. I'll have it recharged and report back...Bill
napa part numbers 406916 is a 90 AL beadlock size 10 hose 1/2 o ring fitting as used on the top of condensor. 404902 is a female flare 90 for size 8 hose as used at the compressor.404901 is a a female 90 flare for size 6 hose three used as at the dryer. 404903 is a 90 female flare 5/8 for size 10 hose as at the compressor. 403003 is a straight 5/8 male flare hose size 10 as used coming out of the evaporator. I think thats it. Now I'm confused. All these fittings were crimped on the hose ends and are Aluminum beadlock style. The sixe 6 hose runs from the dryer to the evaporator. The size 10 hose comes from the compressor to the rear condensor
