Our car has, at some point had the radiator fan mounts cut away. I thought this was a one off, but I've seen another car with them removed (see drawing on photo). Does anyone have a rough dimension, or picture of that section with fans removed?
I'm also unsure what fan motors I need - the two images show different types of fan, one having a pair of square Lucas type.

Are t you getting confused with Pantera? Mangusta has removable panels.

Chris, good news is that the right side "yellow" fan is easy to replace. Left side "white" fan much harder to find.
The right side is shared with early Pantera, using the round Lucas 78497 motor used for Jaguar E type. And replacement 8-blade fan at Wilkinson 11052A. Even, the bracket mounting up may be a common Jaguar part--even, rubber mounting grommets. etc. Wilkinson lists these pieces also.
Left hand white fan is shared with another common car, the Maserati Quatroporte series 1.... 
. Motor is not marked--well, very early Goose and the Maserati were the square Lucas, but there are no marking on the round type and no clear share on another car. Diameter of the fan is smaller than the right side to avoid the radiator pipe.
