Yesterday I noticed that when I slowed, there was a "clunking" noise from the rear occasionally when I braked. Sounded like a loose caliper.

Just got a chance to take off the wheels and on the right rear, I can move the rotor back and for a bit. Is there any adjustment for this or is it a bearing?

The caliper on the drivers side was loose and after tightening it, the noise went away,

But on the passenger side, I could move the rotor in and out slightly with the wheel off and 2 of the lug nuts were loose (all were tight on the drivers side). Once the wheel was tightened down, it did not feel like it was moving. But then again, it was hard to tell.

Any other tests for the bearing?

I did this test on my car, it was recomended by a Michigan rep for the club. I had the hub assembly off the car and clamped it into a vise, then I put a dial indicator on the rotor and applied about 200 lb moment on the bearing assembly and read the dial. If the dial reads less than 0.015 in. then all is good. My assemblies read 0.006 in.
To tell if rear bearing is OK, remove half shaft bolts from hub, remove caliper and of course wheel is off. Spin the rotor. If there's any sound, time for new bearings. Grab rotor like Chuck said, determine if there's any looseness, if so, replace bearing.

Unless the bearings have been replaced already, it's a good thing to do. At least every 30 years or so. If the bearing spins in the races, you'll have a problem with the upright. It could even make matters far worse if the bearing seized while going fast. Bearings are about $150 for a set for the entire rear axle.
