I wrote an article for the POCA newsletter on this routing.

The harness routes along the wheelhouse, and then pops in, then back out of the bay just in the corners. There are existing holes with grommets you can use.

This picture is not as sexy as I would like it to be, but it shows the bundle routing at the front of the engine bay (passenger side).

...That is Exactly How I Routed it.
Yes, there already is a hole in the right/rear corner, for the cable to pass through, Back INTO the Engine Bay. Also! I Eliminated the Cable Electrical 'Plug', that is hidden Behind the 'Puke Tank'. Soldered and 'Shrink-Tubed' All Connections!! There will be NO Problems, Caused by Corrosion of that Plug, in the Rear Electrical System!
