For sale are nicely refinished black leather seats from Purgold, a 1973 L model. These seats, as do most OEM seats, don't allow the seating position I am accustomed to. So, I have aftermarkets on order.

Upon doing a little research, I see most refinished OEM seats go for between $350-600 a pair plus shipping usually without the rails. I am not sure if I will be keeping or selling the stock rails which work fine. So, until I know that, I decided to post these seats and entertain offers until I either come to terms with a buyer and/or decide upon the rails.

Comment posted 12/13/10: I am having fitment (head clearance) issues with the Corbeau GTS II seats I purchased. So, until I get my situation figured out, I am postponing the sale of these seats. I apologize for inconveniencing those who responded with interest in buying them.

Note: For what it's worth, these seats have been reupholstered in a high quality black leather and are in pristine condition. I have been told the cost George paid for refurbishing these seats was well over $1000.

Here is one pic. I can't seem to figure out how to post more than one photo.

I was also considering purchasing Corbeau GTSII seats or reupholstering a pair of original seats I bought last week. I like the look of the Corbeau's, let us all know if you're able to get them to fit. Also have you looked at the Monte Carlo seat from GTS Classics or the LeMans or Misano L from Cobra, they all seem to have measurements that would ostensibly fit in our cars? I'd also be interested in your seats if you get the Corbeaus to work.
Thanks and good luck.

Hey-Don't mean to hijack your post, but I too bought the Corbeau Classic II's for my '74. When I purchased my car in 2003, it had OEM seats upholstered in leather. Sold them and put in Herrig C4 Vette seats. Liked the look, but sat too high, even bolted to floor. I am 6'-2" 205 pounds. Sold those and had Sparco Sprint bolted to drivers side. Perfect fit, great support, but not "period" correct. Pulled it out last Fall and bolted a Corbeau Classic II in. Fit is acceptable with about an inch from head to headliner. Very comfortable and period correct. I have not installed passenger side yet. Will definitely require bulkhead reduction kit to fit well, unless passenger is 5' or under. Still not sold on the Corbeaus. The price is right and finish is decent enough. GTS Classics are a better quality seat and Stefan will modify to your needs, but you will be into it for much more $$$. I think a Ford GT seat would be perfect...if it were not so damn expensive.

So...I may be selling my Corbeaus as well!
