Its been a dream of mine to own a Pantera since the 1970s, and think its about time I turned that dream into reality before I get too old to enjoy one. I don't have the funds for a turn key car so looking for a project I can restore over the next couple of years. I'm in the UK so quite used to repairing extensive rust damage & have rebuilt many engines & gearboxes so would be happy to take on something that needs plenty of work. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction

Welcome Mark,
Have you reached out to any of the DeTomaso Drivers Club UK folks?
Julian
Hi Julian, thats not a bad idea. Seems you have to be a fully paid up member to have any access to ads though, but might just join them when the annual subscriptions come around
Hi Mark . The UK DeTomaso Drivers club doesnt have a forum withs ads as such.
Im a prospective buyer - and joined recently. Most of the interaction is through a Whattsapp group.
They are a friendly bunch and very helpful + the club magazine is great publication.
Thankyou. If you want to let me know what you are looking for I could always forward anything suitable that I come across in my searches
Thanks mark. That would be great .
There doesnt seem to be a lot of Panteras in the Uk on the market at the moment - so i may have to look further afield. Im looking at one at the moment through the club i quite like but any you come across i'd be interested in .
Im a big fan of early cars - but open to almost anything .
The UK club are indeed a great bunch, although full disclosure I may be little bit biased as an expat Brit.... they probably have resources who are familiar with importing a Pantera, cost and the required paper trail.
Thanks Joules - they have been very helpful so far . Here's hoping .........
