Last evening I surfed on over to the webring and noticed one of the nicest and well documented Pantera restorations I've ever seen.

I believe Richard has one of the first 4.6 conversions ever done to a Pantera.

Something else that caught my eye was the shaved door handles. I don't think I've ever seen another Pantera with this mod. Very cool. What do you guys think? Never have to worry about sourcing expensive door handles again!

Steve Wilkinson began doing 4.6 conversions soon after the motor first hit the showroom floor, as the 280 bhp powerplant in the 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII. This is not to detract from Richard's Pantera at all, I've seen the car and I agree with you, it is bitchen. Richard is a good guy too.

Interesting comment from Tom Tjaarda when he was here for ICF. He said he never designs cars with door handles. Doesn't like them as they detract from the design. That's why he liked the pushbuttons.

He'd prob really like this.
