Just received my rigidty kit from pro performace.Looks very impressive only the front bar that goes in the trunk doesnt look as if it fits nicely. Is it becuase my GT5 is a late model and these kits are made for early ones? What it is the two side mounts will work however the one that mounts to the front is at a great angle and the only way to mount would be insalling it almost sitting on the carpet. How much space is there between the bar and the floor? I know that this bar does not do much but i have it so why not use it.Any pics?i

There will always be controversy and differing opinion on the front upper brace. I happen to believe it does little to nothing other than take up trunk space. The front trunk section of the body is a box section formed by the fenders, bulkhead and front trunk itself and is very rigid. Due to the chassis rail design the car can benefit from one of the lower front weld in braces.

If you do feel you need the upper brace then it's mounting should be dictated by the shock towers as it is supposed to sit directly behind the upper shock mountings the same as the rear one. In fact the best brace would be one that simply joins the two shock towers, the triangulation to the front is uneccesary.
