Hello, my #1594 has only one (7") wheel marked with "De Tomaso" and "Campagnolo". The other three wheels are without markings, only the size is stamped in.
I have found the same question from a member in this forum, but no explanation.

It has been my observation the the early Campy wheels did not have the two names cast into the wheels. I have #1490 and none of my original wheels have the names. These "no name" wheels also do not have safety beads.
The next version of the early wheels had the names. I don't know if they had safety beads.

2 of my 4 8" do not have a stamp..2 not
2 7" on the shelf they have
2 10" big shoulder style have them..
on beads no idea what to look for ....

Wheel safety beads came about when tires went tubeless. They were intended to keep the tire seated against the lip of the wheel.
