Scrap value for this car may be a few hundred dollars today. Before you could see at auction some true-totals (esp fire damaged) could sell for thousands of dollars...Which was scary, because it meant that there were then 2 criminals who were competing to use the identity and title to transfer to a stolen car. Though the ad here emphasizes "clean title" I don't suppose that the seller here is intending to indulge a criminal, I suppose (like 8ma800 isn't it? Or like the Pantera Chip Foose's father rebuilt "alfa carabo" which I remember looked incredibly flat as he bought it) could legitimately be used to license a car for the road...

It's funny, the last picture looks like the hood prop rod is still in place, and the hood is bent down on the other side.

Maybe that was just for the picture.

I can't see even 2K$ worth of stuff there (the Craigslist price).
