...must be a sad story there, you rarely ever see such violent collision damage and then a fire.  

   Scrap value for this car may be a few hundred dollars today. Before you could see at auction some true-totals (esp fire damaged) could sell for thousands of dollars...Which was scary, because it meant that there were then 2 criminals who were competing  to use the identity and title to transfer to a stolen car. Though the ad here emphasizes "clean title" I don't suppose that the seller here is intending to indulge a criminal, I suppose (like 8ma800 isn't it? Or like the Pantera Chip Foose's father rebuilt "alfa carabo" which I remember looked incredibly flat as he bought it) could legitimately be used to license a car for the road...
