I've always admitted stealing this from another Pantera plate. Now I think I found it! Was it yours? Are you the originator? Do I owe you a royalty? Wait, let me get my calculator - 1 plate, 27 months, 135 pissed off Ferrari and Porche owners, 17 laughing Pantera owners, 3 confused Quebec Highway Patrol officers... what's that worth?

That is, indeed, priceless!

But no royalites required. I stole the idea off a Pantera I found advertised on Hemmings about 5 years ago while I was Pantera hunting. Couldn't resist since I have a good car buddy who owns a 308. Then I added the I8A4RE Oregon license plate to rub it in some more. Couldn't get the same plate when I became resident of Ohio. :-(

I like where you put the saying. Many people at cruise-ins and car shows somethimes can't easily see the top line of the license plate frame.

Enjoy,

Ron
Ah. Gotcha, Ron. I figured that when I canceled my OR regisitration, the plate would be available to the masses. According to the OR DMV site,
quote:
If a custom plate is not renewed within 30 days from the expiration of the vehicle registration period, the custom plate choice is considered available for approval and assignment to anyone else on a first come, first served basis.
It's been almost 4 years since I let the registration expire. So, the plate should be available if someone hasn't applied for it.

Go for it! And let me know if it's still available.

Ron
