So the driver’s seat rail of my Pantera was difficult to move back and forth. I decided to take it out and take a look at the rollers, which like so many original ones get worn out and don’t roll when the rubber gets squeezed out of shape. Hence the brass rollers everyone goes to. But this story isn’t about that, which was an easy fix. No, something was rattling around in my seat rail, and when I took the rail apart, I found an Italian coin. Take a look at this 500 lire coin stuck in the driver’s side rail. Keep in mind my Pantera is a European one and was brought over in the 70’s from Europe, and not sold here in the US through a Ford/Mercury dealer. So I am thinking this thing has been stuck in there for about 50 years. IMG_2813

You should mount it on a gold chain and wear it as a necklace, like the Italian dudes did!

Very cool find!

LOL...then People would think Your a Corvette Owner, or a Ferraro Guy

! Loafers with no socks, Shirt unbuttoned and Your Gold Chain. Wait...I think I got a Photo of Me in the 70s in My Canary Yellow Leisure Suit? Although I'm pretty sure I wore socks, at least I didn't have a White Belt or White Loafers! LOL
