This is regarding the Pantera project that I received in February. The car came without the factory mount for the swirl tank. They removed the factory tank mount and I think they were planning on "deleting" the swirl tank and instead use the aftermarket filler neck that sort of levitates. The factory mount for the overflow tank is alive and well. In any case, I would like to go back to the factory setup or similar if possible. Ideas anyone?

You really do not need one. The connections to the piping with the short hoses are more the sufficient to hold the tanks in place.
We can send you one. Brand new. Text 305-322-9108 me for a pic.
Shark
How would it attach? Would it have to be welded on or is it feasible to bolt it in place? Thanks!
Very nice looking engine bay!
Either way, your choice.
Put some riv-nuts in and bolt it in. I have welded in captive nuts before painting.
My only concern with riv-nuts in this application is they have a ridge and might not allow the tank mount to sit flush on the engine bay surface. Once I get a mount I will study it. Thanks.
Thanks David. That one is an option. I think my first preference is factory. There are fewer modifications to the car that way.
Steve, there are countersunk riv-nuts.
