selling the Pantera-getting a Gran Torino!

The last 428 CJ was in 1970. I assume this has a 429 CJ or SCJ.

Haven't seen the movie. No 429 CJ or SCJ in '72 as they only made them in '70 & '71... could it be a 351CJ?

They did put 429 PI in the 72, or a 460 in 73.

I THINK that Clint Eastwood said the car was a 428 Cobra Jet. The next member of this board who sees the movie can verify the correctness or error of Clint's statement and give us an update...and maybe the car did not come with a 428CJ that year?

Very good movie. Never saw the end coming. Wont spoil it for anyone. The only mention of the engine I heard was when Tao's cousin was telling him to steal it. All I heard him say was Cobra Jet. Never did hear "Walt" mention the engine. He did say he put the steering column in the car on the assembly line.
But very good movie.
