Kits to convert a pickup truck to tracks & treads, such as those in the above Ford pickup picture, have been available in the aftermarket for years. They are even available for quads (four wheel ATVs).

I looked into them years ago for my rear wheel drive Yamaha Warrior (quad), and a kit consisting of tracks (as shown above) for the rear and skis for the front was about $3000! A kit for my brothers 4 wheel drive Yamaha Wolverine (quad) was about $4000! Those prices vanquished the thought right from our heads. I believe they were about $8-10,000 for the trucks. Expensive toys for your toys!

I like the yellow Mustang. I believe this is the "track only" version, yes ???

Anyway, shows like this are for "dreaming". When I can actually see one of these proto-types fo sale in showrooms, I'll believe it.

Anyone see the Mustang GT commercial with digitized scenes from Bullit ?
Racing thru a corn field. Reminds me of my off road adventure thru the wild animal park at night. Ah memories...Dreams and memories.

Thanks for posting the pics.
