The final connection of the shift linkage to the transaxle requires a piece that slides on the shaft exiting the transaxle. I am in the final stages of a restoration and have discovered I am missing that piece. Does anybody have one to sell?

Love Daddy; When you refer to the final connection, there is a universal joint like the others along the shift linkage that is mounted on the gear selection spline coming out of the ZF. You should be able to find one possibly at a drive line shop or possibly a street rod parts supply store. Borgeson is also a manufacturer of u-joints. Not positive, but believe it is a 36 spline u-joint.
There is also the male spline itself coming out of the gear selector itself with a pin. That part will probably need to be ordered from a vendor.

Yes, male spline with pin, that is the part i need. I was thinking that would be a pantera part and hard to find, but maybe a ZF supplier would have that.

Steve Wilkinson shows it in his catalog. Don't know if he actually has it however. I would guess that Lloyd Butfoy would also be a source.
