Shifter mod

This mod involves removing the detend in the shifter lever box. All you have to do is remove the spring clip from the box(the round circle just to the back of the box). Use a magnet to pull out the cover disc, spring, and plunger. Once this is all removed squirt in some grease and drop the disc on top. The transaxle has a built in detent so this one only adds friction.
This is a fairly easy project to slightly improve shift ease. Good luck.

Very E-Z ,,, 5 min. job

Just did this mod. Took maybe 7 minutes. Tried a magnet but it would not pull out the slider. Just reached in with my thumb and out it popped!
