Should I buy a Pantera? Every several years I find myself making a bad decision. My question to all of you is - Can a Pantera be driven 5000 miles per year without spending 1/2 the year under or around or replacing everything there is to replace? As a previous owner of a Mangusta and a Cobra kit car I'm tired of spending a large part of my life working on the car. I don't expect the car never to need work, but I want one that can routinely be driven without daily maintenance. The car I may purchase is a 1974 with unknown total miles, but is very good condition. Upgrades to the cooling system have been made and the car appears to be rust free. Any opinions as to what one should expect from a 5000 mile per year driver?
