Unfortunately getting the right technical information from the 'girls'at Hall isn't as simple as you think?
They don't have the same knowledge that Gary did. They don't list this part as early/late. I would hope they would know if there is a difference or not?
Shipping is going to be around $30 so they usually charge you for the shipping for their mistake.
For instance, when I asked them for the part number on my headers, they asked for a picture. Then they said, I don't know the part number but they look like ours?
These.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/291700...id=p3984.m1555.l2649People like Mike Cook and Bob Byers worked for Gary at one time or another. They were always a source of technical information besides Gary.
They simply don't help Bev out anymore.
I bought this bar from Gary. He just sent the one he thought would fit. Never had a problem with anything from them, with one exception.
The "high port" Hall 180 headers.
They used the wrong pattern on the header flanges. There were two bolt patterns and SVO only acknowledged the second type.
Hall didn't make it up, SVO just didn't know there were two patterns. Not Halls fault.
I had/have the early first type A3 pattern. The only solution was to modify the location of one bolt hole on the flange. They PAID ME to fix them.
That meant predrilling one hole on each port.
Interestingly enough, the above listed headers (under chassis) have the same issue. You will see two bolt holes on one side of the port. That is the early/late A3 pattern.
That pattern will fit the other heads in the series as well, i.e., the B351, the C302 and the D.
To determine if they will fit other aftermarket aluminum heads, you take the Felpro gasket and overlay them on the flange.
I don't know for a fact that they will simply because I don't have any other heads to try them on.
