I have three red side marker lenses and one amber lens. All of the red side marker lenses have one or both studs that are damaged. The studs aren't broken off, but the steel threaded rod has been cut. Is there a good fix for this, or should I just plan on finding some replacements? I already need to find an amber lens. I have considered a coupler nut and extending the rod, but who knows if there's a nut small enough and if the rods can be threaded without damaging the plastic.
Another solution I thought of was to cut off what's left of the stud at the base and, with some high-temp epoxy, glue on a carriage bolt or something like it.
Suggestions?
