Signal light problems

Hi All;

I am trying to figure out some electrical problems with my car. When I turn on the signals left or right the Hazard switch light flashes also. When I turn the right signal on the left one also flashes. When I turn on the headlights the signals don't work at all. I did have the speedometer out last week could I have pulled a wire off of something else? Please help this thing is driving me loopy.

IMO its most likely the emergency flasher (hazard) switch, either you dislodged a wire while up in there for the speedo or its on its way out.

A lot of stuff is connected through the back of it.

Also check all your fuses carefully. Things behave strangely when they search for an alternate current path.

My dome light would not turn off, and it turned out to be a blown fuse! Thanks to my Pantera Electronics fuse panel for pointing out that one with a red LED!

Hi Guys;

Thanks for your help. I checked all the thing that were recommended to no avail. I was ready to pull the dash out to check the wiring, then I decided to replace the front signal light bulbs that I had recently converted to LED replacements bought online. That corrected the problem right away. The signals work now with the headlights on. The Hazard light in the switch still flashes when I turn on the right signal. I think I will try replacing the Hazard switch to see if that fixes the problem.
