Single wire alternator

I'm upgrading to a 100amp single wire alt from stock. I can't find the issue that had the "how to" in it. The single wire goes from the alt to ? And was there any changes needed to the amp meter?

The single wire goes to the battery, in a normal hook up. But, I am not sure if it is supposed to pass thru the gauge or not with the Pantera...
