slave cylinder

when my slave cylinder was ugly and oxidized, I bought a new standard from hal pantera.
I adjusted the length of the rod too the same length as the Old one was. but when I press the clutch pedal I get one bad sound. sounds like the bearing sharp in the clutch.Are there some of you who have experienced this and have any idea what this could be?
