No, actually DeTom, their Bronze ones... Big Grin
Not all that bad brother, really.
I had some help and a lot of guidence along the way. So will you when your time comes.
Just have to be patient, pay attention to the details and take your time.
I'm not an authority on it by any means. Lloyd, Dennis, Les, they have forgotten more than I'll ever know. But one thing I do know, they are willing to share what they know, and I wanted to learn.
I'll learn more next summer when I do it again. It's nothing to be affraid of, that's for sure.
There's a lot of help out there when someone decides to do it themselves. All you have to do is ask, listen & then share.
In fact, there's a lot of Pantera people out there willing to share all the things we've gone through at different stages with our cars with all those that ask. I'm still asking.....
1/2 the reason I have my car is because of the Brothers that Drive Pantera's.
Nut, bolts, gears and bearings...
That's all it is brother.

Do it again next year?? Holy cow Coz, you gotta learn how to push the clutch in brother. Between shifts. Yeah I know that racing trannys don't need to, but if your tranny is only lasting a year it is because it is trying to tell you something. Use the clutch luke, use the clutch!!
I just don't like the way 2nd gear came out. The timing is still not right. Too much coning on the gear. Thought I could get away with minimal clearance, wrong..... Going to pull it again next summer and have the gear resurfaced or buy another 2nd gear cluster.

My clutch work is just fine.... :-)
