While changing the fluid in my ZF i used a funnel with a length of rubber hose attached to it,and on the end of that rubber hose was hard plastic nipple @ 1/4 to 1/2" long with a thickness of about an 1/8 to 3/16".Long story short...Upon removal of rubber hose the plastic nipple slid off and into the case it went.I've talked to several well known Pantera shops..Some have said just let the gears eat it up,but make sure to change fluid after one good running.Others have said pull the ZF before running again as the tolerances between each gear are slim next to nothing, and any foreign material might hinder there movement.
My next line of defense is to try and find a borscope with a flex shaft and light.
Any suggestions or similar experiances would be Appreciated!
Thanks
