The Southern AZ Panteras got a unique opportunity to run with the AZ Cobra Club to Sonoita AZ, for a private viewing of some awesome cars, including..

Cunningham Continuation Car (#4 in a Series of 7)

- 3 Cunninghams were originally built. This car was the 1st continuation car (#4), with a total of 7 total built.

Details on the Cunningham

1959 Indy Roadster - "Simonize Special"

1958 Joe Hunt Magneto Special - Indy Dirt Track Car

1965 Steve Stapp Chevy Sprinter

1965 Corvette - Unmolested

9x Cobra Replicas (Factory 5 & Superformance)

1973 Pantera

1x Alfa Romeo

As are all of our events, it was Super-Awesome!

Given that this is my thread, I can't help but post pictures of my own car, especially when the pictures come out so nicely.....

Here's the Cars...

1959 Indy Roadster "Simonize Special"

Did you know that the "Roadsters" are a special class of car, with the engine, tranny, torque tube, and differential offset to the left of the car? Specially set up for Indy.

1958 Joe Hunt Magneto Special

This car was in "original" condition when acquired. It is unbelievable that any Race Car would be in such an original condition...

1965 Steve Stapp Chevy Sprinter

The Cunningham

An Awesome '73 Narrowbody De Tomaso Pantera

The owner of this car is unknown, but it is likely that he is just an average engineer, who stumbled into the purchase of a Super-Car based on the experiences of his youth, in Lake Oswego, Oregon, back in 1974-5.

1965 Corvette

I didn't write any details down on this car, other than the fact it is original in almost every way.... Purchased used, just as it is sitting today.
