Having fun on the forum ? Get out of here, I am collecting the grapes for the Rosé wine, and working hard tasting the best ! Dirty job, but someone's got to do it !
We'll soon be there to help you. That's the DeTomaso community way...

I am extremely happy to announce that we have now largely passed the 100 DT cars being present in Spa in two weeks

Yep, from which 23 Belgian registrations (or 27 depending on how you look at it - somebody is cheating ).
Second biggest group is the Swedisch gang with 18 registrations, third is Switzerland with 13 registrations.
The list currently looks like this:
Belgium 23
Sweden 18
Switzerland 13
France 10
United Kingdom 8
Germany 8
Italy 7
Norway 4
Netherlands 4
Denmark 4
Spain 1
Poland 1
Finland 1
When does your "expidition" arrives in Belgium Charles?
Just ready in time for Spa.

Hello Kid, congrats very very nice car
Yes really good looking, I like the silver and chrome and those wheels.
Colour(s) of the car look way better in real life.
The chrome needs to be rechromed though, as well as the wheel nuts.
The wheels look great, and am very happy with them (got them painted, and polished), but are a pain in the *** as they need to be dismanteled whenever a tyre needs to be changed.

What is shitty, is that I payed for the trip, got the days of from work for this weekend, but am I in Belgium? Not exactly. I'm sitting here back home not being able to drive down since i have managed to get a evil inflammation in my shoulders
World can be a shitty place..
So, pictures please!!

Kid from this forum can probably tell you all about that matte black car, since he shared a pit garage with it. I took some pix as well, but photos don't really do it justice. It looks really nice in person - better than in photos.
Maybe I can help you out about the matte black car since I own it

A sincere congrats! I have to be honest and say that I wasn't sure about that car when I saw it in photos, but in person it is a simply amazing car. It looks like something from another century, and it very very well done. I really like the exhaust treatment for example.
Alfa - I may have talked to you in the pits when I was looking for Kid but didn't know it!
Hello Charlie,
It's possible we talked because lot of people were looking for Kid or Pat (I'm the shy one of the three ).
Anyway, I've met a lot of intresting people in Spa and found it really amazing that so many people were coming from all over the world with just the passion for a magnificent car in common.
As I shared on the forum a while ago, I bought the matte black car a year ago in order to transform it into a racer but cancelled the project when I saw the car in reality. It was simply to good to destroy it with some doorbanging during a race.
Bouht another Pantera, this time a real project, that is now being build from the shell. The cost of the project will maybe force me to sell the black car and I know I will regret it a week later but sometimes you have to choose (maybe one of the Alfa's will go). We'll see.
Unfortunately I have problems loading pictures onto the forum, otherwhise I could share the progress in the race Pantera that will be finished in august (if I find the money)

if you counted the plates ... sorry, then 24 Belgium and 7 UK... :-) still driving UK plates till all paper work finished to have my GT5S on Belgian plates...
SPA CLASSIC a few days ago....
is there more pics of that car? WOW!
myself wasn't there ... pitty

pretty cool pic of the turning dynamics of #9425. The loading on the outside front suggests understeer. Appears to have the alignment set with toe in as it seems the inside tire is driving or pushing the car straight. Of course, photos can deceive and I am only weekend speculating. However, a toe out setting may help turn that puppy in. While a stiffer front bar may reduce roll, it would most likely promote understeer.
