Here is a link to a thread on upgrading seats Upgrading Pantera Seats. Mark posted some pics of a Sparco seat in his car. The pics are about half way down page three.
As a suggestion, like almost everything else concerning the modified DeTomaso Pantera, what seats you will enjoy is a function of how tall you are and your torso/leg length, how your back aligns (it's possible to adjust seat rake even in a Pantera), and whether you will be driving the car hard or mostly as a street machine. Cloth inserts in the actual seat area will grip you much better in fast high-g turns than the showier leather which is always slippery. Side bolsters- of any size- in a street car are personally intrusive and annoying to me. I suggest you try a few different seats on "for size" in actual Panteras; the upcoming Reno Fun Rally (June 2011) is a good place for this research.
I installed a set of Pro 2000's. With dropped floor pans and bolted right to the pan I have JUST enough room between my helmet and the roll cage.Plenty of room to the headliner though.
I used a Sparco Sprint for the driver's seat for the last 4 years. Bolted to the floor with stock floorpans. I am 6'-2" 205 lbs and it was very comfortable. I was even able to wear a helmet! I recently removed it because I want a more classic look and went with a pair of Corbeau GTS Classics. Sparco Sprint (black) in mint condition. PM me if you're interested in buying.
